The Church
Tucked within the nave of the deconsecrated 19th-century First Presbyterian Church, the studio is a sanctuary of sound. The vaulted ceilings form a space that breathes with natural reverberation. Here, music floats, lingers, and decays with a graceful elegance. Engineers and artists refer to it as possessing a golden acoustic—that elusive balance of warmth, clarity, and spatial depth that neither flatters nor distorts, but reveals the true nature of the music.

The Hall
Lighting is soft and indirect, and every note played in this room is bathed in gentle reflections, allowing recordings to capture both intimacy and grandeur. Whether it’s a string quartet, a choral ensemble, or a solo voice, the sound is honest; present yet haloed by a glow of natural ambience that requires minimal artificial treatment.
Time seems to stand still here, inviting deep focus for creative expression.
ArticulÉ™te Studios is not just a place to record, but a place to feel; it is more than a space—it is an instrument.
